On Rebuilding Day 2025, Rebuilding Together Charles County was honored to partner with the incredible volunteers from New Hope AME Church of Waldorf to transform a local homeowner’s house into a safe and accessible place to age in place.
With hammers in hand and hearts full of compassion, this dedicated team worked tirelessly to complete critical repairs, enhance safety features, and bring comfort to a home that needed a helping hand. From installing grab bars and fixing flooring to painting and yard work, their efforts made a real and lasting difference.
This project is a beautiful example of what happens when community comes together—neighbors helping neighbors, faith in action, and love made visible through service.
We are so grateful for the New Hope AME Church team and all they did to make Rebuilding Day 2025 a success.
